Scholarship Analysis & Application Project

For this assignment, you will seek out a scholarship (or similar) opportunity that requires a personal essay of at least 500-1000 words. You will first analyze the rhetorical situation, carefully dissecting the prompt and researching the sponsors of the opportunity. Then, you will write your personal essay according to the expectations explicitly expressed and implicitly hinted at. This assignment, once again, consists of two parts. The first part is a one-page analysis of the rhetorical situation. The second is a personal essay that meets the stated requirements for your selected scholarship opportunity. Both of these papers should have 1” margins, be double-spaced, and be printed in Times New Roman 12 pt. font.
