Scenario Assignment Introduction

1) Introduction: Introduce your scenario topic, provide some background information, and capture your reader’s attention. Please be sure to take the complicated ideas related to your major and explain them in a way that someone with no background in your field can 

understand. Be sure to include a strong thesis statement in your introduction. 

Length: your introduction should be 2-3 paragraphs of at least 5 full and thoughtful sentences each. Depending on your writing style, it may need to be longer than that. 

Use and edit what you wrote for the proposal (assignment 1a) and research questions. Revise what you wrote and add to it, adding more background and improving your thesis statement. Make sure that the introduction flows logically in terms of style; since you wrote it in various chunks, you will need to revise a bit.
