A few things to note about the Essay #2 draft before proceeding...

Your essay must be related to the theme of peer pressure.

Remember, you already started your essay last week by writing the introductory paragraph.

Be sure to review the feedback I provided on your introduction paragraph. 

Now it is time to work on the rest of the essay draft. Your essay must follow the traditional five-paragraph format Links to an external site. :

introductory paragraph (hook, general information, thesis statement)

3 body paragraphs (each paragraph supporting the thesis statement)

conclusion paragraph

Your essay must be MLA formatted.

This essay is NOT a research paper, and you do NOT need to include outside information. However, if you choose to include any information that is not your own, you must cite your sources to avoid plagiarism. 

Directions:

Upload your full Essay #2 draft as a Word document. You can download a free copy of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) via Atlas.

This is just a draft which means it is a work in progress. HOWEVER, the draft must be in five-paragraph format, on topic, and MLA formatted to be considered a full essay draft and earn the full 25 points.
