The Department of Homeland Security is responsible for mitigating threats to critical domestic infrastructure, including cyber security. US-CERT was established to implement this mission and reduce vulnerabilities to networks throughout the nation. Is the organization effective? Is it resourced adequately and managed well? If you oversaw operations at US-CERT or any agency that falls under DHS, what would you do differently and why?
