response to a movie

After watching Drive-In (Rod Amateau, 1976), you will write a screening response (at least 2-3 pages long). In your response, you should discuss what you thought about the film, what scenes or elements stood out to you, and what you learned about the film’s history during the introductory remarks. You will then use the ProQuest Historical Newspaper database and the Media History Digital Library to find two film reviews from the time of its release and discuss what the reviewers said about the film. Example film reviews can be from The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, Variety, etc.
