Question 1-  You have a trainee who just does not seem to be getting the training especially on officer safety issues. How would you discuss this with him and counsel him on this? 

Question 2-   
You have a trainee who had done well until the last several shifts when it appears to you that "his head is not in the game." You suspect that he has problems in his personal life that are affecting his job performance. What justification do you have for approaching this and counseling him since it is part of his private life? How would you talk to him about this? 

Question 3- Your trainee approaches you and says that he is afraid on almost every call that he goes on. How would you counsel your trainee on this?
