Choose one topic to write 700 words:

1. Analyze the ethical dilemma of the "Trolley Problem" (either version presented in class), considering these concerns: what do you do? Does this differ from what you think it is ethically correct to do?

2. Which is more important: having epistemic access to the nature of good (without necessarily being able to carry it out reliably) or merely empirically carrying out a good action (without necessarily having epistemic access)? Why?

3. Are emotions a type of knowledge? What, if anything, is important about emotional commitments when evaluating teleological concepts?

4.  Using the concept of feminism as a jumping point, evaluate how one's social identity influences one's theoretical frameworks (ie, epistemic claims, metaphysical distinctions, teleological evaluations).
