respond to a play

This thesis centered paper is 8 pages, 12pt font, double spaced. Use MLA format and cite at least 6 sources. Include Bibliography. 1st draft shared and peer reviewed. 

Throughout the course you will be exposed to new writers and/or works. When 

one of the plays strikes your emotions, or curiosity, or political views—take note. Your final paper should begin with that response. Your thesis is an idea about why that play affected you, the reading audience. Your paper begins with you and your idea and then goes through the play and other examples of emotional

response to defend your idea about how and why the play operates upon its audience.

   recourse only to the personal: “I felt this way therefore it must be because of _______.” It should be an exploration of how the play operates upon its audience. Therefore although you felt one way, your paper might want to ask how other audience members might respond. In addition to research in theatre studies and performance, you may
    

use research in other fields such as sociology, psychology, etc. though this is not necessary for a solid grade it will demonstrate the lengths of your research to defend your thesis.
