  • Will help the candidates decide whether are eligible to apply for the particular job or not
  • Helps the recruiting team to understand the level of qualifications and qualities that should be present in a candidate
  • Gives detailed information about the job including responsibilities, desired skills, conversational ability and more
  • Helps to narrow and select the most appropriate candidate for a particular job

The benefits of job evaluation are (MSG, 2018):

  • To ensure that the hired employee is adhering to the original job description and specifications
  • Followup on a six month or yearly basis will ensure that the employee is learning and growing in the job originally hired for
