Please be sure to check your work for grammar/spelling/punctuation/capitalization errors. Points will be deducted from your weekly discussion scores if these mistakes are repeated on a weekly basis.

Response:

Some ideas from the presentation that really stood out to me was the explanations of the Blue Brain and the Red Brain. These two types of brains were examined and separated into two groups. One group was the Red brain where it acted like a strong defensive mechanism thought processing and tends to act really quickly to reduce any kind of threat that may be risking the individual or the people they associate with. The red brain has a strong reaction to sudden movements and actions. The second group is the blue brain. This blue brain looks lat the world in all sets of different shades of grey where they take many things in consideration when taking decisions and have a stronger emotional reaction to the positive aspects of things rather than negative aspects (the negative images shown vs. the bunnies and flowers). The two brains differ tremendously in the way that they formulate thoughts and the way that they respond to things or stimuli that may be in their view or lives. The concept of the blue and red brain in mixture with cultural differences and worldviews may change the way I see an individual's political makeup because they may have different brain than I do when reacting towards certain political actions that a government may take or opinions on certain political topics. With a red brain, the cultural influences and the worldview may be integrated through the cultural upbringings alongside their thought processing that in more defensive and reacts to what their brain perceives as danger much stronger. The blue brain, when mixing cultural influences and worldviews may see the world in a more positive way and may have many grey areas that others may seem as a threat or dangerous. This may cause a lot of controversy and disagreements because the brains alongside their culture and upbbrings may come from completely different places with traditions while also having a different thought processing.
