Resilence Theory
Unlike many theories, the resiliency theory changes or expands as more and more research reveals the processes by which individuals, families, and groups experience resilience when faced with adversity. Please use the assigned readings, the Learning Activity, and use the Library to research peer-reviewed studies to support your post.
Please respond to the following:
- Identify the key constructs of the resiliency theory.
- Discuss how this theory is different from other theories in human services (such as Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs or Erikson’s developmental theory).
- Given the chance to no longer refer to the resiliency theory as a theory, what would you call it and why? Be creative.
