Research topic paper

I have a 4-5 page paper for my business ethics class about Downsizing. In the paper I need to include the theory of Downsizing, why a company does it, is it ethical to do it?, and use an example about a case of a company using this strategy to create more profit. I have already selected a case which is the CityGroup case in 2008 in where they had a cut of about 50,000 employers.
