profileBroTT2025

In this assignment, you will practice reading research reports to determine if a study contains valuable evidence to solve a clinical problem.

Use the following two articles to complete this document:

· “The Effect of Animal-Assisted Therapy on Nursing Student Anxiety: A Randomized Control Study”

· “Nursing Students’ Perceptions of Nursing Knowledge: A Qualitative Study”

In the following templates, the bracketed text describes the information that should be included in each section of the article. To complete this assignment, replace the bracketed text with a 100-150 word description or summary, written in your own words, of that section of the respective article. Other than in the References section, do not copy and paste from the article to the template.

“The Effect of Animal-Assisted Therapy on Nursing Student Anxiety: A Randomized Control Study”

Author(s): [Identify the authors of the research article. Consider each author’s credentials or expertise. If information about an author is not included within the article, conduct an internet search to determine their credentials, affiliation, and relationship to the topic of the article.]

Abstract: [The abstract is a summary of the study. Abstracts are typically 150 to 250 words in length and provide a brief overview of the study’s purpose, interventions, results, and recommendations.]

Introduction: [Located toward the beginning of the article, the introduction contains the background information that applies to the research study.]

Research Design: [Identify the design of the research, whether it is qualitative, quantitative, or another type of design.]

Methods and Procedures: [Often, the methodology is labeled as a header in the study; however, this is not always the case. The methodology identifies how the study was completed. The sample size and inclusion and exclusion criteria can be included in this section. Methods and procedures information may also be included in a design section. Research articles are all unique! The headings can certainly vary.]

Results: [In this section, the authors identify the outcome of the research.]

Discussion: [In this section, the authors describe the significance of the results and discuss the possible implications.]

Conclusion: [Here, the authors present the main conclusions of the research study. Recommendations can be included in this section.]

References: [The reference list includes the information needed to identify and retrieve each source cited in the study. Because the references cannot be expressed in your own words, you may copy and paste them from the article.]
