Identify a minority group (not your own) that you believe is oppressed or marginalized in society today. Discuss how the group is oppressed and how that oppression affects the members’ opportunities for social and economic justice. Then, think of someone you know from a different racial, cultural, religious or socioeconomic background from yourself. When you first met the person, what were some of the differences you saw; what were some of the similarities? Did any of your attitudes and/or behaviors change as you got to know this person? In what way?
