What is an agile project? What are the basic underlying principles in agile projects? Discuss the various aspects of the SCRUM methodology. Specifically, discuss product backlog, sprint backlog, user stories, time and cost estimations in agile projects, self-managed teams, servant leadership, minimum viable product, shippable increment, daily standup meetings, release planning, iteration planning, retrospectives, and benefits of agile methodology. Give real-world examples of an agile project. How does it impact Project Success (i.e., on-time completion, on-budget completion, meeting specifications, and overall satisfaction of stakeholders)? Perform extensive research from academic and practitioner literature. Use journals/ sources such as Project Management Journal, International Journal of Project Management, Harvard Business Review, California Management Review, Business Horizons, Sloan Management Review, Harvard Business Cases, Project Times, PM Network (from the PMI), PMBOK, Government case studies (from https://www.gao.gov/Links to an external site.). Use at least 15 sources other than PMBOK. Use APA style for citations. Any research paper should introduce the topic, related concepts, how the topic is related to project success (synthesis from the academic/practitioner literature), real-world examples, the subject's significance, conclusions, and references sections.
