My professor's notes for my proposal are below 

 This question seems too medically oriented. If you feel strongly about this topic focus on the social and emotional factors not on the symptoms and causes. The symptoms and causes should only serve to provide some brief background information on the topic. Be careful not to simply just write back exactly what you find. This topic is on the border of being considered a medical topic, and with these topics it can become difficult to paraphrase or summarize the information we find when we attempt to put that information on our own words.
