Choose one of the two topics below:

1. Pick a firm of your choice that is headquartered in the US (US MNE) but has international operations. Discuss the firms' international activities in one country outside the US (eg. Germany).

-Describe its activities in that location in brief. 

-  Use any of the chapters/concepts of the textbook to explain/examine the mode of operations of the firm in the country (eg. exporting, licensing, JV, greenfield, acquisition etc). 

-  Use any of the chapters/concepts in the textbook to explain/examine 1-2 activities described in more detail (for example marketing, R and D or production?)

- Provide some suggestions on how the firm could improve upon the activities you have examined. Draw on concepts from the text/other reference material.

2. Pick a firm of your choice that is headquartered in a country other than the US (non-US MNE) but has US operations. Discuss the firms' US activities.

-Describe its activities in the US in brief. 

-  Use any of the chapters/concepts of the textbook to explain/examine the mode of operations of the firm in the US (eg. exporting, licensing, JV, greenfield, acquisition etc). 

-  Use any of the chapters/concepts in the textbook to explain/examine 1-2 activities described in more detail (for example marketing, R and D or production?)

- Provide some suggestions on how the firm could improve upon the activities you have examined. Draw on concepts from the text/other reference material.

The reflection paper must be 3 pages in length (no more and no less) and must be single spaced using Times New Roman, size 12 font, with 1.25 inch margins on the side and 1 inch margins on the top and bottom. 

In addition, you must attach a cover page that includes the topic you have chosen and a page of references at the end of your paper (the cover page and reference page do not count toward the 3 page requirement). You must use at least ten references for the paper.
