TOPIC: Planning: Developing Business and Acquisition Plans

Please review the Chapter 4 and supplemental materials to explain Phases 1 & 2 of the Acquisition Process and by answering the following questions below:

• How does planning facilitate the acquisition process?
• What is the difference between a business plan and an acquisition plan?
• What  are the advantages and disadvantages of using an acquisition to  implement a business strategy as compared to a joint venture?
