The current research literature discusses brain-based (neural) applications that incorporate aspects of adaptive automation. To better understand the next steps needed for extending this knowledge, locate a study completed within the last five (5) years that addresses one or more concerns pertaining specifically to the aviation or aerospace sectors that involves neural systems. Indicate to what extent you believe this study has fulfilled a gap for extending knowledge of neural automation, and what next directions and new work has been identified.
