Research Assignment

Based upon this week’s materials and your independent research, respond to the following prompts:

1.  Define the primary sources of American law (constitutional law, statutory law, treaties, administrative agency regulations, and common law).

2.  Compare and contrast the common law system (Great Britain, United States, Canada, etc.) and the civil law system (Spain, Mexico, France, etc.).
