I can apply the concepts learned in this course to my future career in many ways. First, I will be knowledgeable in the various employment and labor laws in order to maintain regulation standards among my organization and its employees. It would be part of my job as a human resource professional to implement preventive measures such as, sexual harassment awareness. Another aspect of my job will be to develop and provide training on significant factors of the law and/or job-related functions. In doing so, costly lawsuits can be avoided, safety in the workplace can be maintained, and productivity along with morale remains high. I feel that the lessons I have learned can positively influence my career success because in possessing such knowledge of employment law and labor laws, I am a valuable asset to my firm. I can recognize potential legal issues and rectify such issues on the spot.
