Read the “Renegotiating NAFTA” case on page 253. NAFTA has produced significant net benefits for the Canadian, Mexican and U.S. economies. In recent years, there has been some discussion(s) around renegotiating NAFTA. What are your thoughts (pros and cons) on the proposed changes? What in general was the effect of the creation of a single market and a single currency within the EU? Did it increase competition within the EU and outside the EU? Why? Feel free to do your own research online for additional information on this topic.
