 A type-written essay of at least five pages (500 words) will be produced by the student. Suggested topics, which correspond with material to be discussed in both the class and discussion groups, include but are not limited to the following (i.e. other topics may be suggested by the student but must be approved by the instructor):
i. The Dialectic between Biblical Criticism and Christian Faith
ii. The Contemporary Relevance of the New Testament
iii. The Doctrine of Inspiration and the New Testament
iv. The Historical Context of the New Testament
v. The Quest for the Historical Jesus
