Regulatory, Environmental & Social Considerations in Sourcing

This week we added some additional considerations for companies to take into account when selecting suppliers--impact on the environment, social or ethical considerations, especially when using global suppliers and government and regulatory bodies.  Use a company with which you are familiar or one you found in an internet search and write a scenario about the company's supplier/sourcing experience that relates to a topic from this week's reading.  

Initial post should include the following information:

1.  Are you writing this case from a sourcing or supplier perspective?

2.  Does the scenario use the environment, social/ethical concerns or government and regulatory lens?

3.  Provide details of the experience and the end result.
