• Interpret the regression coefficient in terms of the problem, using a confidence interval and the p-value.
• Identify and interpret the regression equation, and explain the meaning of the slope, intercept, correlation coefficient, and coefficient of determination of the regression line.
• For a problem situation involving two variables, identify the dependent variable and the independent variable.
• Assess the role of descriptive statistics in real world situations.
