Regression

 Using the same data given in the previous discussion, the regression line is plotted below.  The regression equation is y’= -301.27+6.96X.  Explain what the regression line represents. Explain what each term of the equation represents and interpret this regression solution.  Pick a height value and calculate the predicted weight for that height.  These results will be different for each of you, depending on the chosen height value.
 

Guided Response:  Review several of your classmates’ posts.  Respond substantively to two peers.  Would you have come up with the same answer for the selected height?  For their chosen height values, what would the increase in weight be if the height increases by one inch?
