1) The self-reflective essay:

This can take any form you want. Which books did you read? Why? Which did you not read? Why? Which books did you like? Which did you hate? Why? Which were the more valuable reading experiences? Which the less? Why? It should be at least two double-spaced pages.

You may organize your essay anyway you wish. But it would be a good idea to touch on all of the principal texts we read this semester. They were:
