- Write a Reflection Paper on the following questions:
- What is most surprising or shocking to you as you watched and read about the events that lead to the mass suicide?
- Give examples of 2 strategies of persuasion (see specifically Chapter 7 in textbook) used by Jim Jones? Explain what this looked like within the People’s Temple.
- As the APA article suggests, there are ethical questions raised as to the dangers of social psychological research and how that can possibly aid in these type of events. What do you think? What are some ideas of how this situation could be prevented in the future?
