Role:
• Student-teacher intern in a 3rd grade classroom
School Setting:
• Title I public elementary school in Clayton County, Georgia
• Title I schools receive federal funding to support students from low-income families. The
goal is to ensure all children have a fair and equal opportunity to obtain a high-quality
education.
Teaching Focus:
• Science instruction that supports curiosity, exploration, and engagement
• Strategies that make science meaningful and relevant for all learners
Professional Goals:
• Create an inclusive and equitable classroom where all students feel capable of learning
science
