The agency is Center to Rise – Here’s the website: https://centertorise.com/
This is the same agency where I completed my placement during Term 1 last semester. While the assignments for last semester and the current semester (Placement Term 2) share the same structure and requirements, the content must be original and not identical. However, it can reflect similar themes or experiences, given that it is the same agency.
I’ve attached the assignment I submitted last semester for your reference. Please ensure that the new assignment aligns with the content and context of the previous one while maintaining originality.

Reflection Journal 1:
How are Ethics and professionalism addressed in your agency? You may also include other reflections in your journal but please ensure to speak about the topic for the journal as well.
Ethics and Professionalism are fundamental pillars that guide the conduct of social workers and the overall operation of a social work agency. Center To Rise Wellness Spa Studio, Arlington operates under these fundamental pillar principles. And these guidelines come from professional organizations such as the American Psychological Association and the National Association of Social workers, which provides framework for confidentiality, informed consent, dual relationships and the duty to report harm.
Center To Rise Wellness Spa Studio, Arlington adheres to ethical standards by maintaining appropriate boundaries, continuous professional development and exhibiting empathy and respect. These are some of the traits that I have observed in one of my sit-ins with the therapist while the therapist conducted an hour session with a client. I further noticed that a commitment to professionalism helps build trust between the client and the therapist. In addition, I also found that ethics and professionalism become crucial and create a framework that allows clients to feel secure, understood, and valued. So far, I have understood that a strong ethical foundation and professionalism in a therapy session not only protects clients but also reinforces the integrity of the therapeutic process.
The knowledge that I possess regarding social work practice profoundly influences my future behavior and actions. For example, observing and understanding the principles of client-centered practice equips me to prioritize the needs and preferences of clients, ensuring that I approach each case with empathy and respect. And having knowledge of ethical guidelines helps me navigate potential dilemmas which become important in fostering trust with clients.
Overall, ethics and professionalism are the core components of practice here at the Center To Rise Wellness Spa Studio in Arlington. And in this clinic, fostering an environment not only builds trust with clients but also enhances collaboration among staff members and intern students.
