Write a literature research essay of 1,000 – 1,500 words on Death of a Salesman, using one of the topics below. Conduct research to find three sources of credible literary criticism and incorporate the sources into your essay. 

Is Willy truly the protagonist or is Biff? Consider the following in your answer: the definition and criteria of a protagonist is a character who becomes enlightened and knowledgeable about himself. Does one view, Willy's or Biff's,make the play less dark and more optimistic?

NEED TO INCLUDE THREE SOURCES OF LITERARY CRITICISM IN YOUR PAPER. The sources must come from a book or one of the LRC’s databases. Sources such as Wikipedia, SparksNotes, Schmoop, Cliff’s Notes, MasterPlots, MasterPlots II, Helium, student papers written for class assignments, and any other similar source are not considered credible sources.

You will want to include a works cited page with at least four entries, the play Death of a Salesman and your three sources of literary scholarship.
