INSTRUCTIONS The Simulation Assignment is worth 30% of your final grade. Your grade on the assignment will be divided between your Simulation completion (10 points) and a Reflection Paper (20 points).

Your Reflection Paper should be no less than 6 pages in length (NOT including your title page and reference page) with at least  4 supporting reference sources (not including the assigned texts, articles and videos). The Reflection Paper should be written in standard APA style (APA 7th edition) Grammar, spelling and word usage are a part of your grade. All written assignments will be submitted to Turnitin to evaluate grammar and to check for plagiarism. Each assignment must be submitted in Microsoft Word and submitted through Moodle.

*This paper must exhibit critical thinking and be an original work and not generated by technology. If AI is used for brainstorming, drafting or editing, please cite all AI assistance as per the  syllabus. If AI assistance is used, paper should include a short "AI Disclosure" explaining which parts of the work were AI-assisted and how you verified the accuracy of the content

Reflection Prompts:

1. Did you take any time to diagnose and create a change plan before you began to act?  What were the consequences of your preparation, or lack thereof?

2. What seemed to work? What didn’t work as well?

3. What is your understanding as to why some of your lever pulls did not work?

4. What changes did you make to improve the results of your lever pulls and your scenario results?

5. In which scenario did you achieve your best results? Your worst results? Why?

6. Research and discuss at least one change management theory other than the ones discussed in class. How did this theory align with the simulations?

7. Research and discuss the "why" behind employee resistance to change. What role can leaders have in addressing human behavior and resistance?

8. Research and discuss a recent ethical leadership failure with possible explanations for the failure supported by scholarly sources.

9. What specific ways do you foresee using the skills or knowledge gained in this class?

10. What suggestions do you have for future classes?
