Imagine you're pulled into a meeting with your company's Exeuctive Team. They confide in you that they've just lost a decent-sized customer (approxatley 5% of their annual Sales) and believe they need to trim 10% of the headcount of the workforce.
Mindful of your copany's family-like, egalitarian culture... you are motivated to suggest almost anything possible OTHER than trimming heads (after all, you know these people's families, children, etc.).
