Choose any one (1) film made in Hong Kong (except for a brief list at the end of this prompt+) from any period by any director or star including someone whom we have looked at.

You will consider the following elements:

                 Relevant background to the production

               Relevance of time-period in which the film was made

               Studio or production company

Brief background of the director and/or writer depending on film (adaptation of important                                            writer’s works might also be considered)

Stylistic/aesthetic analysis – what are the specific, relevant aspects to the films style.  Not only should you be specific, but  you might choose a scene or two to look at in depth

Make sure to cite your sources in the text (MLA or Chicago style) and provide a works cited.
