Reading response question

Write a short papers (600 – 800 words) that describe the primary argument of the reading from below.  The argument of an essay is not the same as its topic. When writing these responses, ask yourself, “what is the author trying to convince me of in this essay? What evidence does she use? How does she make the argument?” One paragraph of each response should be dedicated to an explanation of the author’s use of a particular source to support her thesis.
