(Book: Konopaske, Ivancevich, & Matteson:  Organizational Behavior and Management)

This week we have reviewed several different leadership styles through our reading and study.

We will now compare those styles to real-world examples of leadership in action and compare

what we have studied against the experiences of leaders through a series of interview questions

and an evaluation of a current scholarly article that relates to the type of leadership displayed by

your interviewee.

INSTRUCTIONS

For this assignment, you will interview someone you know who is or has been in, a leadership

role. You will also research and present information gathered regarding leadership styles from an

article sourced from the Jerry Falwell Library that correlates or connects to the type of leader you

will interview. Your final assignment should include the following:

• 2 pages of content (500-750 words)

• 1 citation from our textbook, 1 citation from your chosen scholarly article, and 1 citation

from scripture (including book, chapter, and verse). The chosen scholarly article should

be published within the last five years.

• A summary of the content and responses from the interview based on the interview

questions listed below. You may add additional questions, but the questions below must

be included in the interview.

• Based upon the responses from the interview, describe the leadership style of the person

you interviewed:

o Which of the leadership styles covered in the textbook does this leader exhibit?

o Describe the actions of the leader and how this exhibits the identified level of

leadership.

• Biblical integration that clearly articulates how scripture and a biblical worldview can be
