Reading and Writing Across the Curriculum

Upload a sample lesson plan you have used this year, or plan to use this year (for kindergarten class), that shows a strong focus on incorporating reading and writing across the curriculum in a subject other than language arts.  If you only teach ELA as your area, provide a lesson that branches into one of the other subject areas with your team so strong cross curricular ties are evident.

Write a 1-2 page essay outlining how you incorportate literacy education into your curriculum on a daily basis.  In addition, students should be writing in each class, every day.  However, every teacher has a lot of ground to cover no matter the subject area.  How can you incorporate writing into your curriculum without it becoming a burden on you as a teacher?  Reference ways to add this into your daily routine and teaching.
