Now that you have watched the  video on reading and the brain, post three questions for the class  related to the video.  Use open-ended evaluative or appreciative questions, no close-ended literal or inferential questions. Your questions should be thought provoking and require deep thinking to answer. Try starting questions with "why" or "what if" or "how come."

For example, I might ask the following:

  1. “Use it or Lose it” should be the motto for reading. Why?
  2. What do complex tasks like learning to speak English do to the brain?
  3. Reading is all about connections. What does that mean?
