 1) In a paragraph, describe a parable (religious or non-religious) that you remember hearing or reading. Why do you remember it and what do you remember being its message if any? If you are unfamiliar with any parables, what is a folk story you remember hearing and what do you remember about it? 

2) Does the father lie to the children in the “Parable of the Burning House”? If so, does it matter? Why or why not?
