Many states and districts are imposing budget cuts, grants and outside funding sources are becoming an increasingly important funding source for K–12 public schools.

***USE ANY 1 SCHOOL IN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY.

1. Compile a list of 5 grants that you or your school received and/or are planning to apply for in the future. Include the funding source and how you became aware of the grant i.e. district grants administration office web site, Google search, etc.
2. Compile a list of 5 community partners who have provided support or in-kind services to your school. Include the amount and type of support provided. How are community business partners solicited in your district or school? What are some strategies to increase the number of partners?
