This week's discussion focuses on the different actions leaders should take, given changing situations, as well as the approaches they can take to guide followers (employees, etc.) towards their personal and professional goals.

Please answer the following questions in at least 250 words. 

1. Explain the two steps leaders must fulfill to be effective.

2. Apply these steps to a current situation in which you are a follower.

3. What style would be most appropriate for leading you, according to the 

theory, and why? Do you agree?

4. Apply path–goal theory to a group you are currently in.

5. How well does the leader’s style match the follower characteristics and task characteristics of your group?
