Executive Summary

Provide an introductory overview of the clinic.  Be succinct and synthesize writing.  Provide a clear purpose and goal. Briefly provide synthesized statements for each case, giving the reader enough general information for both the analysis and strategies for each case.  Remember, the details will be within the report.  This is a summary or overview.

An executive summary (ES) is the first thing a stakeholder will view.  Like an abstract, the ES will include a brief introduction and overall summary of the written report. 

  An ES should not include specific details from the report, but a synthesis of ideas.
