Quarantine and Isolation

 Quarantine, isolation, and other public health control measures will be discussed this week. With that in mind:

1) Discuss the differences between quarantine and isolation. Use examples to make your distinctions clear.  

2) Discuss current challenges to effective communicable disease control. Pick one of the challenges from the readings, or use one of your own, and discuss it here based on what you learned during this content section. Your response must include the following:

What is the issue? Describe it briefly.

Is it appropriate to be regulated by public health law?

Why is this issue important? How do you feel about it?
