Select a decision-oriented issue from your organization that can be measured using Applied Information Economics (AIE) to come to a specific recommendation. Write a report that describes the AIE framework as follows:

• Define      the decision

IS THERE A CORRELATION BETWEEN RECRUITMENT NUMBER AND RETENTION NUMBERS FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS IN THE US ARMY? WHAT IS THE CORRELATION COEFFICIENT AND WHAT DOES THAT INDICATE? USING FORECASTING CAN ONE SET OF NUMBERS PREDICT THE OTHER? IF NOT, WHAT IS THE POSSIBLE EXPLINATION FROM A QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS STAND POINT

• Determine      what you know

GATHER THE NUMBERS FOR THE LAST TEN YEARS for RECRUITING AND RETENTION IN THE US ARMY (ACTIVE, RESERVE) these are open source, if they can be found use a ten year span that you can find. 

• Compute      the value of additional information

WHY WOULD HAVING THIS INFORMATION BE VALUABLE AND HOW WOULD YOU USE IT

• Measure      where information value is high

WHAT IS THE MOST VALUEABLE INFORMATION YOU HAVE GATHERED?

• Make a      decision and act on it (or prepare a detailed action plan)

HOW WOULD YOU TAKE THE INFORMATION AND PUT IT INTO ACTION?

This report should be written in APA format. Also, please make sure that your final project is within 5-7 pages written plus exhibits. Finally, students are encouraged to work in groups comprised of less than or equal to 4 individuals.

This is my final in Quantitative Analysis it is worth 25% of my overall grade. 

1.) This needs to be at least 5 pages not including references, title page, and displays such as graphs.

2.) So far the assignment that has been completed by the tutor contains a lot of observations, and very little analysis. The writing (sentence) structure is not to an acceptable level. For example, there are many many sentences like this; “The measurement of the information values is high in consideration of the ranges of the convey percentage in 10% of the US army recruits.”This doesn’t mean anything and does not contribute to the paper or analysis and this is how the paper reads nearly the time. 

3.) I need to paper to be coherent and have some substance to the analysis. Proper English and context is a must.

Requirements 

-At least 5 pages not including title reference, and display content such as graphs and the like. 

The BASIS of the project is AIE (Applied Information Economics)

The purpose of the paper is to take the last 10 years of Recruiting numbers in the US Army (Active, Reserve) and the last 10 years of Retention number and show whether or not there is a correlation between the 2 sets of numbers. Then what is the correlation coefficient of the 2 sets of numbers. I would also like to have a forecast model built with the intention of determining if one set of numbers can determine the other, i.e. If Recruiting levels are up, does that mean that Retention levels will also be up. If so, a theory on why that is using the Quantitative Analysis and other research found.
