Qualitative Article Review GM paper
Choose 1 qualitative article related to your Literature Review or Alternative Assignment and compose a 2-page review of it. Your review must include 2 sections: (1) a summary of the article, and (2) a critical analysis of the article.
Your summary must include:
• The purpose of the study
• Description of participants/sample
• The research design/data analysis: narrative, grounded theory, case study, phenomenology, ethnography, etc.
• Method of data collection: questionnaire, document analysis, observation, interview (open-ended, structured), etc.
• Results
Your analysis must include:
• Opportunities for further research not already stated in the article
• Threats to validity or undocumented bias on the part of the researcher(s)
• Other original insight or criticism
• Implications of the findings
After completing the article review, exchange it with the partner you selected in Discussion Board Forum 2. Examine the suggestions that your partner makes and incorporate them as necessary. Then, submit the final version of your Qualitative Article Review and the Peer-Editing Grading Rubric your partner completed for your first version.
Submit the final version of your Qualitative Article Review and the Peer-Editing Grading Rubric by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Sunday of Module/Week 5.
Peer Edit Instructions
During this course, you will complete 2 peer-editing sessions with the partner that you chose in Discussion Board Forum 2. After composing each article review, you will exchange it with your partner for editing.
Use the Peer-Editing Grading Rubric found in the Assignment Instructions folder to make editing suggestions for your partner's article review. Do not make any actual changes; instead, make suggestions through the rubric and also using Track Changes.
After completing the edit, attach your rubric at the end of your partner's article review and email the completed Peer-Editing Grading Rubric back to your partner. Make sure to copy in your instructor. Since you will be graded on your participation in the peer-editing process and the quality of your feedback, you must submit the Peer-Editing Grading Rubric that you completed for your partner through the appropriate submission link in Blackboard
