research purpose: The purpose of this generic qualitative inquiry was to know the perspectives of the students who are undertaking doctoral online studies especially regarding the challenges that they are facing, starting from their perspectives and the perspective of the family. This is through targeting those whom for one reason or another they have found so many challenges as they are planning to deal with their student life and other issues. The study was to determine equally the concept of the learners as they are trying to pursue their online courses. This is because their families and work-life want their engagement as well.
