QUALITATIVE Article Review and QUANTITTIVE Article Review
QUALITATIVE Article Review
Part of your course work requires you to review two research articles; one qualitative and one quantitative. There are no hard word count or page requirements as long as you cover the basic guidelines. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Here are some basic guidelines that your abstracts should contain:
• Introduction/Background - Provide a context for the research article. For example, what led the author(s) to write this article? What key concepts from or weaknesses in past research led to the current hypotheses or research questions?
• Methodology - Give a description of how data was gathered and analyzed. What research questions/hypotheses were the researcher trying to answer/explore?
• Study Findings and Results(Qualitative)/Study Findings and Limitations (Quantitative) - What are the major findings from the study?
• Conclusions - Evaluate the article in terms of significance, research methods, readability, and the implications of the results. What are the strengths and weaknesses of the article?
