 One of the sample essays we are reading in the book is called "An American Childhood."  As you read the essay, pay particular attention to the actual chase, and the language used to describe it.  Notice how she speeds her narrative up by creating a sense of breathlessness. please write about a time when you either chased someone or something, or were chased.  Try to use the narrative technique from the sample essay to control the "speed" of your narrative.  Please complete your initial post of 275+ words.
