Assignment:

Using your Student/Chair Self-Assessment Form, include the following:

• Explain the areas of your Prospectus Form that you plan to work on and strengthen after this course to prepare the document for further chair and second committee member review. 

Note: Remember that this is *your* self-assessment; you will need to incorporate feedback from your chair’s assessment of your work. 

• Be sure to think about the various skills referenced in this class (e.g., library work, organization, writing, research) and note if you need to strengthen any of these.  Focus on your scholarly writing, research design/methodological understanding, and alignment. Last, keep in mind that the Dissertation is a substantive and difficult process; describe how you plan to remain motivated throughout the Dissertation despite the iterative nature and rounds of feedback necessary to this process.
