• Reflect on your annotated bibliography entries, which you have developed to understand your topic of interest and potential research problem. This should help you craft the premise statement.

This Assignment has two parts:

• Part 1: Premise Completion
  Create a 1-page premise. As noted in the Dissertation Premise Guide (PDF), the premise consists of four parts:
  • Title
  • Problem statement
  • Approach (i.e., proposed methodology) for the study
  • References
• Part 2: Doctoral Committee Matching Assignment
  Complete the Doctoral Committee Matching Form to begin the process of establishing your capstone committee. Click on the following link: Doctoral Committee Matching Form.Links to an external site. Note: Students who already have a chair:
  • If you have a chair but need a second committee member, please complete Part I and Part II. For Part II, you will indicate you need a second committee member on the form and not a chair.
  • If you already have both a chair and a second committee member, please submit a document to your Instructor indicating you already have an approved committee and provide the names of chair and SCM.
